About the artist: Peter Rubino achieved international acclaim for his 12 foot bronze monument “Mother Of All Life” commissioned for the Boyko Research Center in Beer Sheva, Israel and a 35 foot tall sculpture “Archangel” created for Disney International.

Peter specializes in larger than life-size portrait sculptures and has captured the likeness of
President Barack Obama, jazz icons Dave Brubeck and Duke Ellington, as well as baseball
legends Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Ty Cobb to name a few. Mr. Rubino is an accomplished
author, his books “The Portrait in Clay” and “Sculpting The Figure in Clay” are distributed world
wide and translated in 5 languages. Peter has been exhibiting his work and teaching sculpture
workshops at prestigious venues throughout the US and Italy for over 50 years. 

Peter is a Navy veteran and has created numerous busts of fallen heroes. His patriotic sculptures, “Remembrance” “Reflection” and “Valor” are installed at various Military Walls, Memorial sites and Veteran Parks in North Carolina.
